Spectator Information
Since 2002, Indiana State University and the city of Terre Haute have hosted the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships 12 times at prestigious LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course. Most recently, Indiana State hosted the men's and women's title races in the 2016 season that saw the Northern Arizona men and Oregon women snare the team titles.
Only Michigan State has hosted the Division I men's championship more times than Indiana State, hosting every iteration from 1938-1964 being run in East Lansing, Mich. No school has hosted the women's national title race more than Indiana State since the women's championship began in 1981 in Wichita, Kan.
