2026 Indiana State Home Cross Country Meets
Indiana State University and the LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course will play host to three cross country meets during the 2026 regular season, prior to hosting the NCAA Cross Country National Championships for the 14th time in program history in November. The meets will take place September 19, October 2 and October 16, with information on each meet available below and at GoSycamores.com.

Teams wishing to enter in Indiana State's 2026 home meets leading up to the 2026 NCAA Division I National Championships must fill out the intent to compete forms located on the cross country page of GoSycamores.com.
 

NO team and institutional tents will be permitted at the John McNichols Invitational and Under Armour Pre-National Invitational. Teams wishing to have a tent at either meet must fill out the Tent and Equipment Rental Form, which can be accessed HERE.
 

Officials wishing to work the NCAA Division I National Championships must fill out the officials application form, which can be accessed HERE. Deadline to submit the officials application is July 10, and officials selected to work the national championships will be notified by September 1. Priority will be given to individuals that can work BOTH the Pre-National Invitational AND the NCAA National Championships.
